CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE

We are coming to the end of an eventful season and I find myself sooner than anticipated Chairman of  the Branch due to the unexpected and very sad death of Roderick McLachlan. He will be missed for his cheery and friendly personality and also for his great knowledge of the workings of the society.

 We were pleased to see a number of dancers at the Day School from the Beginner’s classes – we do hope you all, beginners and more experienced dancers alike enjoyed the instructor’s teaching and that we all learned something new regardless of how long we have been dancing.

 Our Spring Classes this year as in the past will be taken by “guest” teachers so we should have a very varied and interesting choice of dances during the five weeks of dancing.
We would ask the Beginners who have been to the Spring Classes in previous years to spread the good news and encourage others to come this year.
